Paralakhemundi: Manager of State Bank of India (SBI) Paralakhemundi Main Branch has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The branch has been sealed ,informed district collector Anupam Shah today.
Another branch of the bank in the town has also been sealed, he added.
Speaking to media, the Collector said the Branch Manager was staying in Bhubaneswar following his illness and subsequently, tested positive for Covid-19. Since he used to visit both the branches in Paralakhemundi, the offices have been sealed to prevent entry of the people to these two branches, he added.
Meanwhile, all the staff of the two SBI offices have been asked to remain in home quarantine and undergo COVID-19 test.
The number of total positive cases in the district is 384.
