Berhampur: The Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) has decided to take up several development projects to improve civic infrastructure in the Silk City.
The BeMC is planning to undertake as many as 17 projects, including construction of new Sauchalaya near ANM Center, ground leveling and installation of chairs at Khalikote College ground, community hall and library, and open space development of at back side of night shelter.
BeMC Commissioner Dr. Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar and other senior officials have visited three wards – 19, 20 and 20 in Berhampur.
After due discussion with the citizens and site visits, the civic body has decided to take up the projects in the coming days, BeMC said.
