Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda Lends a Helping Hand To Mentally Ill Old Woman; Praises Pour in from All Quarters

Berhampur: Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda’s obsession with helping poor and the needy continues as he lends his helping hand for them every now and then. He has once again showed that when it comes to helping the needy, he will be the last person to deny. A few days back when he was on his way for an official work, he saw a mentally ill hungry old woman lying on the road near Gajapati Nagar main road without any care. He immediately got down from his vehicle and asked the old woman about her address and made arrangements to send her to her home in Kukudakhandi. He instructed one of his staff to accompany the old lady to her home.

The acts of kindness by the young MLA have been praised by the locals. Be it providing financial assistance to poor people or helping the marginalized get their grievances solved, Panda has been at the forefront. Earlier he had showed his humanity by helping perform the last rites of a poor widow who died due to multiple health issues.
