Berhampur: The vigilance sleuths today conducted simultaneous raids on the properties of an Executive Engineer, Rural Works (Electrical) Division, Berhampur due to the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
The Executive Engineer has been identified as Jagannath Sethy.
The vigilance team led by one Additional SP, four DsSP, 10 Inspectors and other staffs have conducted simultaneous house searches at 5 places in Khordha and Ganjam district.
The vigilance officers raided Sethy’s residential four storeyed building at Gajapati Nagar, 8th Lane, Berhampur; five storeyed building located at Gajapati Nagar, 11th lane Extension, Berhampur; four storeyed building at AIIMS Nagar 3rd lane, Bhubaneswar; office of Sethy at Ambapua, Berhampur, house at his native village Puttabagada, PS: Chhatrapur.
Search is still underway, the vigilance said.
