Bhubaneswar: The vigilance sleuths have caught a Block Development Officer in Bargarh district for carrying huge cash.
Padmanava Samantaray, BDO, Bijepur, Bargarh has been intercepted by Odisha Vigilance at Binika, Sonepur while proceeding towards Bhubaneswar carrying huge cash of Rs . 3,51,300 which he could not account for satisfactorily.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted at the BDO’s locations at Bargarh, Puri, Bhubaneswar, the vigilance department said.
