Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal is all set to retain the Tirtol Assembly seat in Jagatsinghpur district with massive victory.
After the 25th rounds of counting, the BJD was leading the seat by 39544 votes over the BJP.
While BJD candidate Bijay Shankar Das has got as many as 82308 votes, BJP’s Rajkishore Behera secured 42764 votes. Congress nominee Himansu Bhushan Mallick was in third place with 25363 votes after end of 25th rounds of counting.
