Bhubaneswar: A Biju Janata Dal delegation met the State Election Commission this morning and demanded strong action against the BJP Zilla Parishad candidate for allegedly distributing cash for elections.
The delegation alleged that Pravin Nayak, the BJP ZP candidate of Sundargarh Sadar- A zone was caught distributing cash in Kinjirima Gram Panchayat for elections yesterday by the locals and subsequently handed over to the Police.
The BJD has urged the SEC to take strict criminal action against the BJP ZP candidate.
