Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has shared the details of the 87 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in the state capital city in the last 24 hours.
Out of the 87 cases, 41 cases are related to quarantine and the remaining 46 are the local contacts, the BMC said.
“Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts & nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised & will be under active surveillance,” said the BMC.
The total number of coronavirus cases now stands at 1130 in Bhubaneswar area, including 621 active cases, as per the data released by the civic body.
