Boudh: A Service Cooperative Society Secretary in Boudh district has come under the scanner of vigilance department for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.
Odisha Vigilance officials on Monday conducted simultaneous raids several places in connection with allegation against Santosh Kumar Raut, Secretary, Service Cooperative Society, Uma, Kantamal block, Boudh district regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The officers of Vigilance, Berhampur Division conducted simultaneous searches at his double storied residential building, one single storied residential building, and office at Uma Cooperative Society.
The raids were conducted on the basis of search warrants issued by the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Phulbani.
The raids and calculation of total value of his movable and immovable properties were underway till the latest reports came in.
