Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell to Remain Closed Till March 31

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister’s grievance cell and joint grievance cells at the district level will remain closed till March 31 in view of the outbreak of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).

However, people can send their grievances online, a statement issued by CMO said.

The State Government also announced the shutdown of all educational institutions, swimming pools, gyms and cinema halls across the state till March 31.

Non-essential official gatherings such as seminars, workshops, and conferences have also been cancelled. Social gatherings like marriage, reception, parties are to be regulated by local authorities, according to an official notification stated earlier.
Earlier today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik made a statement in this regard in the State Assembly Friday and also declared COVID-19 as a ‘state disaster’.
