Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the death of Brajrajnagar MLA and former Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Kishore Mohanty, who passed away on Thursday.
ପୂର୍ବତନ ବାଚସ୍ପତି ତଥା @bjd_odisha ର ବ୍ରଜରାଜନଗର ବିଧାୟକ କିଶୋର କୁମାର ମହାନ୍ତିଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ଆମ ଦଳର ଜଣେ ଦକ୍ଷ ନେତା ତଥା ଜନପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଭାବେ ତାଙ୍କ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ ରହିବେ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

Mohanty died of heart attack. He was 63.
Mohanty was elected to the Assembly from Jharsuguda thrice. He was the Government Chief Whip for four years during 2004 to 2008 and also elected to the Rajya Sabha. He won the Brajrajnagar assembly seat in 2019.
