Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated Collectors of Kandhamal and Nabarangpur districts for winning the prestigious SKOCH awards.
Kandhamal district bagged the national-level SKOCH Award (Silver) under the aspirational district category for the year 2020 for its innovative projects– Delivery Van, Bike Ambulance and Janani Auto to improve the maternal health.

Nabarangpur district got the SKOCH Award (Platinum) under the aspirational district category for ‘Farm-based scientific & technological intervention for socio-economic development’.
“Congratulate @DM Nabarangpur on being awarded SKOCH Award for ‘farm based scientific & technological intervention for socio-economic development’. The SKOCH Award, instituted in 2003, recognizes people, projects and institutions that go the extra mile to make the nation better. It also recognizes projects and institutions that are making best efforts in the area of digital, financial and social inclusions for the betterment of the nation.
