Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated an Akanshya Hostel for the SC&ST students in Ganjam district.
It is one of the three Akanshya Hostels that Chief Minister has inaugurated through video conferencing.
The hostel is situated in Ambapua area in Berhampur.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveen said that education is the basis of reformation and is vital for the development of SCs and STs in the State.
He said that his government has always given priority on education, due to which the SC and ST students have been able to excel in different fields.
The Chief Minister also launched several development programmes for the benefit of SC and ST students.
