Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will conduct an aerial survey of flood-affected areas tomorrow, informed State Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy on Sunday.
The CM will review the flood situations in the affected districts and hold discussions with senior officials about the relief and restoration measures.
According to the Special Relief Commissioner, more than 14 lakh people in 3256 villages in 112 blocks of 20 districts were affected due to flood, while 17 persons died.
The districts are Angul, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Sambalpur, Sonepur and Sundergarh.
