Bhubaneswar: The first consignment of Covaxin, the COVID-19 vaccine from Bharat Biotech, reached Odisha today.
This comes a day after Odisha received 4.08 lakh doses of Serum Institute of India’s Covishield vaccine.
The State received as many as 20,000 doses of Covaxin this morning.
The Bharat Biotech’s vaccine arrived at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here from Hyderabad and later transported to the State Vaccine Store, sources said.
