Bhubaneswar: As many as 1044 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours, said the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the new cases, 825 are the local contact cases and the rest 219 are from quarantine, it said.
Meanwhile, the capital city has reported recovery of 447 patients from the virus during the same period.
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the city jumped to 42445 which includes 6493 active cases.
