Bhubaneswar: As many as 342 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Odisha capital in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of coronavirus in the area to 16933.
This has been informed by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) through its Twitter handle.
Of the new cases, 244 cases are the local contact cases and the rest 98 are the quarantine cases.
Meanwhile, the total recovered cases in the BMC area rose to 12288 as another 387 patients have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
The active cases in the State capital now stand at: 4568.
