COVID-19: Cuttack City to Remain under Complete Shutdown

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to impose complete shutdown in Cuttack Municipal Corporation in the backdrop of discovery of new cases of corona virus in these two cities in last few days.

The decision came after the detection of the sixth positive of COVID-19 in the State.

Earlier today, the State Government announced complete shutdown in Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak.

All shops including grocery, fruits, vegetables will be closed down in these cities.

The shutdown will be for 48 hours from 8pm Friday to 8 pm Sunday.

Giving details of the shutdown Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy has said that strict action will be taken against people breaking the shutdown in the cities. Except medicals and medicine stores that are most essential, all others will be shutdown.
