COVID-19: Odisha Registers Record Recovery of 609 COVID Patients in Single Day

Bhubaneswar: Scaling new heights in the war against COVID-19, Odisha registered a record recovery of 609 COVID-19 patients in a single day today, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The total recovered cases of in the State now stand at 9864.
Among the new recovered patients, 268 are from Ganjam district, 135 from Sundargarh and 37 from Khordha.

Besides, 32 COVID-19 patients from Cuttack, 25 from Balasore, 23 from Keonjhar, 18 from Mayurbhanj, 12 each from Bhadrak and Puri, 8 from Sambalpur, 7 each from Bargarh & Jagatsinghpur, 6 from Jajpur, 4 each from Jharsuguda & Kendrapara, 3 from Bolangir , 2 each from Koraput, Nabarangpur & Rayagada, and 1 each from Gajapati and Nayagarh have recovered from the disease, the Health Department added.
