Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reported 1215 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 and seven deaths related to the virus in the last 24 hours, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Of the 1215 new cases, as many as 753 cases have been registered from quarantine centres and 462 are local contacts.

With this, the total COVID-19 cases in Odisha jumped to 28107 including 10545 active cases. As many as 17373 patients have recovered from the infection,
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 death toll in the State reached to 154 as seven positive patients succumbed to the virus while under treatment in hospitals.
The latest death cases have been reported from Ganjam (3), Rayagada (2), Cuttack (1) and Bhubaneswar (1).
