Bhubaneswar: Odisha has registered 304 fresh cases of COVID-19 and two deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health and Family Welfare Department.
A 76-year old male COVID-19 positive patient of Bargarh district, who was suffering from diabetes for long, passed away while under treatment in hospital.
Another 49-year old male patient of Ganjam district, also died in hospital. The person was also a patient of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, the Health Department said.
With this, the death toll due to COVID-19 has risen to 14.
Of the 304 positive cases, 272 cases have been reported from quarantine centres across the State and the rest 32 are the local contacts.
