Rourkela: The Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) on Wednesday made it mandatory for the people to wear face masks in all public places.
The RMC said that wearing of masks has been made mandatory for all citizens at all public places including markets.
The civic body has also urged the citizens to go for Covid-19 tests if they develop flu-like symptoms.
“People can go for COVID testing at SAIL Health Centre Sector 6, SAIL Health Centre Sector 1 and Rourkela Govt Hospital amid COVID protocol,” the RMC stated.
Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur and Sambalpur Municipal Corporations have already made mask-wearing compulsory for the people in public places.
