New Delhi: In a significant development, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Thursday put ban on entry for all travellers from India, including its own citizens, in view of an increasing number of positive Covid-19 cases in India.
“We are temporarily suspending entry into New Zealand for travellers from India,” news agency Reuters quoted PM Jacinda Ardern as saying during a press conference in Auckland.
The suspension will be in place from 4 pm on 11 April and stay until 28 April.
