Bhubaneswar: The Crime Branch has issued notice to Nahar Bhuiyan, one of the directors of Odisha Infratech Pvt Ltd in relation to the Sarua Land Scam issue. He is also officiating as the CEO of OTV – the TV channel run by Bijayant Panda family.
The Crime Branch had recently interrogated two other directors of Odisha Infratech – Manoranjan Sarangi and Bibhu Ratha in relation to the Sarua Land Scam case. Meanwhile, Manoranjan Sarangi resigned yesterday from the post of Director of Odisha Infratech Private Limited and CFO of OTV citing ill health.
Manoranjan has been arrested by the Crime Branch in the case.
In Khordha, the strike by the workers of Odisha Infratech Private Limited continued for the seventh day today. They have been on Dharna on five point demand. The Crime Branch has also issued notice to the 22 people who have sold their land to Rabi Sethi, the driver of Odisha Infratech Pvt Ltd.
