Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government’s Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has bagged the Urban Mobility India Award 2022 for “Running Trophy for the State which has implemented the best urban transport projects during the previous year” again.
The award has been given by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India.
Dipti Mahapatro, GM (P&A), CRUT received the award at a ceremony held at Kochi in Kerala.
With the constant support of the State Government of Odisha, CRUT has been able to create a Socially Inclusive and Gender Sensitive mobility ecosystem and reach new milestones over the years by contributing to several sustainable development goals, the CRUT said.
Congratulating the CRUT for the award, the Chief Minister said that CRUT has been able to create an inclusive, sustainable, smart, safe and accessible public transport ecosystem.
