Cuttack: A special team of two inspectors and eleven constables has been formed to investigate and nab the killers of the three murders that took place last two days.
The murders are seen as a handiwork of a psycho killer who is targeting people especially who are homeless and sleep in the open sky. In the last two days three people have died in similar circumstances.
While the CP and DCP have taken the incidents seriously, the commissionerate police has intensified efforts to nab the culprit. The CP himself went on a night patrolling yesterday and requested the people to stay inside the houses when not necessary. While one dead body was found on Tuesday morning, two more dead bodies were found on Wednesday.
According to senior police officials there is no need for the people of Bhubaneswar to panic as no cases have been found in the capital city.
