Cuttack: The Directors General of Police of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh today discussed on strategies to curb Left Wing Extremism (LWE) in border areas of both the State.
Odisha DGP Abhay held videoconferencing with his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Gautam Sawang to discuss joint operation and cooperation to combat LWE in border areas of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting was attended by ADG, BSF, IGs of CRPF, JS MHA, SsP of bordering districts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh and other senior officials of Andhra Pradesh Police, Odisha Police, BSF and CRPF.
A video meeting was held today between DGP Odisha n DGP AP to discuss counter LWE stategy and future cooperation .ADG BSF ,IGs of CRPF ,JS MHA ,SsP of bordering districts and other senior officers of Odisha Police ,AP Police , CRPF , BSF, MHA attended.
