Fighting COVID-19: Bhadrak District Admin Declares Nine GPs as Containment Zones

Bhubaneswar: After detection of three more COVID-19 positive cases in Basudevpur block in Bhadrak, the district administration today declared nine panchayats under the block as containment zones to prevent the local transmission of the disease.

In a notification, the district administration said that 22 villages in the nine GPs of the block will be sealed as part of the preventive measure to contain the spread of the deadly virus.

The nine panchayats have been divided into four zones, as per the notification.

No public shall be allowed to move into the containment zone and inhabitants within the containment zone shall not move out. All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain in home, the district admin said.
