Ahmedabad: Former Gujarat Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel passed away on Thursday at the age of 92 after a prolonged illness, according to reports.
The veteran BJP leader had tested positive for coronavirus in September and was asymptomatic. He recovered later from the disease.
Patel served as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 1995 and again during 1998-2001.
He was succeeded by Narendra Modi as Gujarat chief minister.
