Former Odisha Cricket Team Captain Prashant Mohapatra Dies of Covid-19

Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha Ranji team captain Prashant Mohapatra, son of late sculptor and Rajya Sabha MP Raghunath Mohapatra, has succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences here in city on Wednesday.

AIIMS superintendent Sachidananda Mohanty informed about the development today.
Notably, his father Raghunath Mohapatra, an eminent sculptor, Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha had died on May 9, 2021 while undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in Bhubaneswar.
Prashant was a BCCI match referee and played 45 first class matches.
