Gajapati District Admin Declares Containment Zone for Two Villages in Gosani Block

Paralakhemundi: The Gajapati district administration has issued containment zone order for two villages- Uppalada and Tamparkakiti- under Gosani block after the detection of three positive cases in the villages.

In Uppalada village, Upara Sahi, Anganwadi centre, school, Harijan Sahi, Reli Sahi and Bazaar Chhak have been sealed till June 24. Similarly the entry point of Tamparkakiti village has been sealed till June 23, the district admin said.

The step has been taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the two patients have been shifted to COVID hospital for treatment.
