Ganjam BJD Leaders Welcome Naveen’s Decision to Expel Pradeep Panigrahi from Party

Berhampur: The Biju Janata Dal leaders in Ganjam district have welcomed party Supremo Naveen Patnaik’s decision to expel three-time sitting MLA and former minister Pradeep Panigrahi from the party.

This is for the first time in Indian politics that an MLA has been expelled from the ruling party for anti-people activities.

Welcoming the decision, Berhampur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu expressed that the BJD President Naveen Patnaik never tolerates corruption and anti-people activities by any leader whoever he maybe.

The expulsion of Pradeep Panigrahi from the BJD has set an example not only for the party but also for the people of Odisha. Naveen Patnaik has once again reiterated that there is no place for tainted leaders in the party, the Berhampur MP added.

Expressing similar views, Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda has said that Chief Minister has never tolerated corruption and anti-people activities. By expelling senior leader Pradeep Panigrahi, the BJD supremo has proved it yet again that there is no place for wrongdoing when it comes to the people of the state and whoever it may be they have to face action. The Chief Minister has done the right thing at the right time.

BJD Ganjam District President Dr. Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik has welcomed the decision saying that party President Naveen Patnaik never tolerates anti-people activities by any leader of the party.
