Ganjam Bus Electrocution: CM Expresses Grief over Death of Six Passengers, Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia, Free Treatment for Injured

Bhubaneswar:  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the death of at least six persons in bus electrocution at Mendrajpur near Golanthara in Ganjam district on Sunday. 

The Chief Minister conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and announces ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of the kin of the deceased.

The 25 injured people have been admitted at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur and will be given free medical treatment, the CM announced.

ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁରରେ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ଜନିତ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣାରେ ମୃତାହତ ଖବର ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ମର୍ମାହତ। ମୃତକଙ୍କ ପରିବାର ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସହ ଆହତଙ୍କ ଆଶୁଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କାମନା କରୁଛି। ମୃତକଙ୍କ ପରିବାରକୁ ଆର୍ଥିକ ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରଦାନ ସହ ଆହତଙ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ଚିକିତ୍ସା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ବହନ କରିବେ।
