Chatrapur: Two COVID-19 warriors in Odisha’s Ganjam district have tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The COVID-19 warriors – SDPO Chatrapur and IIC Chatrapur were infected by the virus while they were discharging their duty.
This has been informed by Ganjam SP Brijesh Kumar Rai through his Twitter handle.
“In the line of duty our two covid warriors SDPO Chatrapur & IIC Chatrapur tested covid positive. We wish speedy recovery of them. Inspiring by their services we take this fight against covid with great zeal to save our citizens from this disease”, the SP tweeted.

The two COVID-19 warriors are among the 20 new cases reported from Ganjam district on Saturday.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the district reached 678, of which 128 are the active cases. As many as 545 patients have recovered from the disease so far in the district.
