Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has declared Ganjam as a Red Zone in view of the growing number of Coronavirus cases from the district.
Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj have been added to the Orange zones.
While Ganjam saw a sharp rise in the number of Coronavirus cases in the last few days, the total count has reached 21 cases. 17 of the cases were recorded today itself.
In Jagatsinghpur, four cases of Coronavirus were detected yesterday. Mayurbhanj also saw three new cases on Thursday.
An order issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department on categorization of Districts said that all necessary stipulations by Government of India and the State Government for different Zones are to be followed scrupulously.
