Berhampur: Bringing laurels to the State, the Direct Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) Berhampur in Odisha’s Ganjam district received the ISO certification for quality management system.
The DEIC got the prestigious recognition for compliance with requirements of quality management system in various activities, such as screening, early identification and management of defects at birth, deficiencies, diseases, developmental delays including disabilities and assured linkage to care, support and treatment for all children up to 18 years of age in order to improve their survival outcome.
Expressing happiness over the achievement, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange said that it’s pride moment for Ganjam.
“Again pride moment for Ganjam 1st time in Odisha , District Early Intervention Centre( DEIC) Berhampur received ISO certificate today on 07.01.2021”, the Collector tweeted.
In another success story, CHC Kodala in the district has also bagged the ISO certificate.
Earlier this week, as many as 11 state-run healthcare centres in Ganjam received the same tag for quality management system.
