Historic Moment For Odisha: Naveen Inaugurates Distribution of Smart Health Cards From Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the most ambitious scheme of distribution of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Smart Health Cards from Malkangiri. At a special function held at the Sanskruti Bhawan and attended by many dignitaries at Malkangiri, Naveen handed over the Digital Smart Cards to the BSKY beneficiaries. More than one and half lakh smart health cards will be issued to the people of Malkangiri in the next one week.

The Smart Cards will entitle the beneficiaries free treatment at any government hospital and more than 200 empanelled private hospitals. The Biju Swasthya Kalyana Yojana smart cards will benefit more than three and half crore people of Odisha. One of the important features of the Smart Card will is they can be used as a debit card for a certain amount.
