New Delhi: India has reported 33750 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. With this the number of active cases in the country has risen to 1,45,582 cases.
In the last 24 hours, 110,846 people have recovered and 23 people lost lives due to the virus. The total recoveries stand at 3,42,95,407 and total deaths at 4,81,893.
Capital Delhi reported 3,194 cases and Mumbai saw 8,063 new Covid-19 cases. Likewise, Kolkata registered 3,194 new cases. Total vaccination in the country jumped to 1,45,68,89,306 till now.
The number of Omicron infected people has crossed 1700 in the country with Maharashtra leading with 510 cases and Delhi 351 cases. Of the total Omicron cases, 639 have recovered.
