India Reports Biggest Single Day Spike of 45,720 New COVID-19 Positive Cases, 1,129 Deaths

New Delhi: India registered its biggest single-day spike of 45,720 new positive cases and 1,129 deaths in the last 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.

The total positive cases in the country jumped to 12, 38, 635 with the addition of fresh 45,720 cases in the 24 hours.

There are 4,26,167 active cases in the country.

While, 7,82,606 patients have recovered from the infection, 29,861 people have died due to the virus.
