India Sees Its Worst Single-Day Spike of 52,123 COVID-19 Cases

New Delhi: India recorded its worst single-day spike of 52,123 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

With this biggest one-day spike, India’s coronavirus caseload jumped to 15,83,792.

As per the data, 775 COVID-19 patients have died in the last 24 hours, taking the total fatalities to 34,968.

The total number of people who have recovered is 10,20,582 and recovery rate is 64.43 per cent, while the positivity rate is 11.67 per cent.

The total samples tested is 1,81,90,382, including 4,46,642 samples tested on Wednesday.
