India’s COVID-19 Tally Crosses 68-Lakh Mark

New Delhi: India’s coronavirus tally crossed 68-lakh mark with the addition of fresh 78,524 COVID-19 cases and 971 deaths in 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The total coronavirus caseload in the country stands at 68,35,655, of which 9,02,425 are currently active.

As many as 58,27,704 patients have been discharged so far, while 1,05,526 have lost the battle against the pandemic.

The recovery rate of the country stands at 85.02 per cent and the fatality rate at 1.55 per cent, the Health Ministry said.
