Bhubaneswar: Investment in youth is an investment in future, said Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik highlighting the significance of power of the youth to bring positive change in society.
On the occasion of International Youth Day today, Naveen urged all to celebrate the infinite energy, enthusiasm and passion of young generation and channelize them so that they become torchbearers of positive change in society.
“Investment in youth is an investment in future. On International Youth Day, let’s celebrate the infinite energy, enthusiasm and passion of young generation and channelise them so that they become torchbearers of positive change in society”, the CM tweeted.

International Youth Day (IYD) is an awareness day designated by the United Nations. The purpose of the day is to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth. The first IYD was observed on 12 August, 2000.
