ITI Berhampur Comes up with Unique Sculptures to Raise Awareness for Conservation of Tiger

Berhampur: As the world celebrates the International Tiger Day today, the Odisha Government-run ITI Berhampur has pledged its commitment to raise awareness for the conservation of tiger.

The ITI Berhampur has come up with unique sculptures to promote awareness for protection of tigers and their habitats around the world.

The skilled professionals from the institute have installed a group of tigers made out of scrap iron, wrapped with a artificial grass. These tiger sculptures are permanently kept in a team inside the campus. This will give the message throughout the year.

The tigers are made out of iron bars, around 400 Kg of scrap iron in used. It took around 20 days to complete the tigers.

Inaugurating the programme MLA Berhampur Bikram Panda said that it is a proud matter for silk city as the ITI Students have taken such a wonderful initiative.

Ganjam DFO Amlan Nayak said, this will crack awareness among the people of Ganjam District as well as the young mass. We proud the initiative of the ITI Berhampur team.

Principal Dr Rajat Panigrahy said that the students will now act as warriors to protect the tigers. The skill mention is fulfilled along with environment protection.

Tiger is a symbol of beauty, bravery, strength and nationality. Let us save the tiger, the nation Pride, the students said.
