Jagatsinghpur Dist Wins National-level SKOCH Award for E-governance

Bhubaneswar: Jagatsinghpur district has won the prestigious national-level SKOCH Crucible Award for e-governance. 

This has been informed by District Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra.

The Collector said that Jagatsinghpur is the only district where all offices run by e-office under 5T.

He also thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his constant guidance.

Earlier, Kandhamal and Nabarangpur districts have won the national-level SKOCH Awards.

Kandhamal district bagged the national-level SKOCH Award (Silver) under the aspirational district category for the year 2020 for its innovative projects– Delivery Van, Bike Ambulance and Janani Auto to improve the maternal health.

Nabarangpur district got the SKOCH Award (Platinum) under the aspirational district category for ‘Farm-based scientific & technological intervention for socio-economic development’.

The SKOCH Award, instituted in 2003, recognizes people, projects and institutions that go the extra mile to make the nation better. It also recognizes projects and institutions that are making best efforts in the area of digital, financial and social inclusions for the betterment of the nation.
