Kandhamal Reports Maiden Cases of COVID-19, Odisha Tally Reaches 876

Bhubaneswar: The number of Coronavirus Cases in Odisha has increased to 876 with the state recording another 48 new positive cases including first two cases from Kandhamal district.

As many as 16 new cases have been reported from Jajpur. Ganjam has also reported 15 new cases. While Puri has 4 new cases, for the first time two cases have been conformed from Kandhamal District. Kendrapada, Nayagarh, Bolangir, Boudg and Khurdha reported 3, 3, 2, 1 and 1 case respectively. Of the 48 new coronavirus cases, 47 were in quarantine centers. One person is a local.

With this the number of active cases in the state has gone up to 652 and 220 persons have been cured.
