Chennai: Legendary Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away today afternoon. He was 74 years old. He was on life support system for the last few days in a Private Hospital in Chennai.
His health condition deteriorated yesterday. He was in hospital since August first week after contracting Covid-19. Fondly called as Balu, S P Balasubrahmanyam has sang songs in many Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalamnd Hindi. He has sung more than 40 thousand songs in his career spanning 55 years.
