Lockdown Declared in Maharashtra’s Amravati

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Government has announced a weekend lockdown in Amravati district in view slow rise in COVID-19 cases after lying low for two months.

The lockdown in the district will start at 8 pm on Saturday and stay in place till Monday morning, the Amravati administration said.

District collector Shailesh Naval has appealed to the people to follow Covid protocols.
