Madhya Pradesh Political Turmoil: Cong, BJP Move Their MLAs out of MP

New Delhi: Amid the ongoing political crisis in Madhya Pradesh, the ruling Congress and opposition BJP have decided to move their MLAs out of the State in order to prevent attempts of poaching.

As per media reports, the saffron party has sent its legislators to Gurugram in Haryana while Congress MLAs are being sent to Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Congress has reportedly sent two of its senior leaders to Bengaluru to pacify the rebel MLAs who are staying in the city.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has expressed confidence that his government will complete its term.

On Tuesday, as many as 21 Congress MLAs from Madhya Pradesh resigned soon after Jyotiraditya Scindia quit the party.

The development led a political upheaval in the State.
