New Delhi: Metro services resumed today in different cities across the country after almost five months.
The cities, such as Delhi, Lucknow, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad resumed their metro services this morning.
Delhi Metro will operate in two shifts 7 AM to 11 AM and 4 PM to 8 PM in the first stage. Normal operations will start from September 12.
Meanwhile, Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Durga Shankar Mishra urged the passengers to follow preventive measures against COVID-19 by maintaining social distance and wearing face masks.
