National Defence College Delegation Appreciates Odisha’s Initiative in Public Service Delivery, Mo Sarkar

Bhubaneswar: A delegation from the National Defence College, New Delhi led by Air Vice Marshal B.V. Upadhyay met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Lok Seva Bhavan here today.

The delegation is on a 5-day visit to Odisha to study the socio-political environment, governance mechanism and all-round development of the State.

During the discussion, the delegation appreciated the 5-T and Mo Sarkar initiatives of the State Government. They also admired the State’s effort in making the public service delivery mechanism faster and more effective, and also spoke about the success in automation and digitisation of land records.

The delegation is travelling across the state to observe the translation of various schemes on ground. The delegation is comprised 14 senior officers from the Defence and Civil Services including 4 officers from foreign countries and 2 women officers, one each from IPS and the IRS.

The National Defence College is the highest seat of strategic learning for officers of Indian Armed Forces and the Civil Services of India. Officers from friendly countries like US, Europe, Sri Lanka, Nepal, UAE and other countries attend the course at NDC.
